Inflatable Penile Implant

An inflatable penile implant can be implemented in the case of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, or other medical conditions in which a man can no longer maintain an erection or sexual function.

The urologist inserts two cylinders, a reservoir and a pump, into the penis and attaches those cylinders to a separate saline reservoir located in the lower abdomen. The patient is able to press the pump when needed to control his erections.
