Inflatable Penile Implant
An inflatable penile implant can be implemented in the case of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, or other medical conditions in which a man can no longer maintain an erection or sexual function.
Condition it treats:
Erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease
What happens during the procedure:
The urologist inserts two cylinders, a reservoir and a pump, into the penis and attaches those cylinders to a separate saline reservoir located in the lower abdomen. The patient is able to press the pump when needed to control his erections.
