Vasectomy Reversal
A vasectomy reversal is an outpatient procedure in which the urologist reconnects the sealed off tubes of the vas deferens in order to let sperm flow into the semen once again.
What Happens During the Procedure:
A vasectomy reversal is usually performed when the patient is under anesthesia. The urologist makes a small incision in the scrotum and views the vas deferens under a microscope. He/she then reattaches the tubes to let the sperm flow into the semen again.
